For those who require more advanced features, there is TTSMaker Pro. How does TTSMaker charge for its services?
TTSMaker uses a character-based pricing model. Audio duration depends on language, voice, and speed settings, so we charge based on characters used. Estimated audio length is for reference only. For example, 300,000 characters may produce about 6.9 hours of English audio, 4.3 hours in Spanish, or over 14 hours in Chinese due to language differences.
Which plan should I choose?
You can choose a pricing plan based on your character usage or the desired length of generated audio. Generally, 1 million characters can generate an audio file of approximately 23 hours on average. However, this depends on different voices, default speech speeds, and other voice settings like speed and pauses.
Can I upgrade from a monthly to a yearly subscription?
Yes, you can do that anytime. We provide a page for plan upgrades and the corresponding features.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, absolutely. If you wish to cancel your plan, simply go to the 'Manage Plan' section under your profile and cancel. This ensures that no future payments will be deducted. After cancellation, you will continue to have access to all premium features until the end of your current billing cycle.

No, the character quota for users cannot be accumulated. The monthly character quota for users will reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. It resets every month on your billing date.

What is Professional Invoicing, how does it differ from the default invoice, and how to update it?
By default, every payment generates a tax invoice that includes your email address, product details, and transaction amount — available for all paid plans (Lite, Pro, Studio). With Professional Invoicing (available for Pro and Studio plans), you can self-service update your invoice to include full business details such as company name, contact name, tax registration number, and billing address. Simply go to My Account → Billing History, find the specific transaction, and click 'Update Invoice' to complete via our customer portal. Please note: this self-service update is available once per invoice, and it only updates the displayed information — it does not affect your payment amount. This feature is ideal for business expense reporting and corporate record-keeping. For EU VAT-ID tax exemption, please refer to the FAQ below about VAT-ID. When making payment, the amount will be converted according to the US dollar exchange rate, and you need to select the corresponding country or region.
Does TTSMaker provide Tax Invoices? How do I update my invoice or add a VAT-ID?
Yes, TTSMaker provides tax invoices. TTSMaker utilizes Paddle & Stripe for global payment processing, and the invoices will include details from both Paddle and TTSMaker. There are two different scenarios depending on your needs: Scenario 1 - Update Invoice Information (All Users): If you need your invoice to include your company name, address, or other business details for reimbursement purposes, you can do this yourself after purchase. Go to your Account page → Billing History → click Update Invoice next to the relevant transaction. Please note that each invoice can only be updated once, and this update only changes the displayed information on the invoice — it does not affect your payment amount. Scenario 2 - EU VAT-ID Tax Exemption (EU Business Users Only): If you are an EU business user and want to apply your VAT-ID to be exempt from Value Added Tax (e.g., 8% tax), you must enter and validate your VAT-ID during the checkout process before completing payment. On the second step of the payment pop-up, select the VAT option on the left side, enter your VAT-ID, and validate it before proceeding. This cannot be done after purchase, because the VAT-ID affects the actual tax amount charged. If you missed adding your VAT-ID during checkout, please contact our support team for assistance.
